Saunton Sands

A typical English Sunday morning in October, grey skies, low cloud , dull and dreary, best thing to do is to stay in bed .... or get some sea air. The sun comes out and the day is transformed. I once worked with a guy from New Jersey, he told me that all the beaches in England where covered in rocks, he should have gone to Saunton Sands.

oops wrong account, that one doesn't exist anymore...

Like I said, I love everything about this photo ;)

I have been there a few years ago; the area looks a lot like the Dutch dunes. In your photo I like the aloneness of the man and the way he stands right above his reflection.

Wonderful photo! I really like this composition. Very stark and dramatic.

Hi Jasp,

Good evening!

I hope you're well.

I'm so happy you're back! It's great to see your beautiful photos.

To hear from you.

I like when you come back. :)

I like this photo...this beach. The man and the lack of rocks. The gray.

I'm glad you went out in search of the sun.

I have to do that too, sometimes. But it’s raining here now. Been raining for days.

I hope it’s nice wherever you are. Bright and sunny. :)

Or, at least not dull and dreary.
